Microsoft introduces Cortana

On Wednesday, Microsoft showed off the new Windows Phone 8.1 and officially debuted Cortana, the company's answer to Siri. Microsoft’s Joe Belfiore, in a jab at Apple and Google, introduced Cortana as “the first truly personal digital assistant.” via VentureBeat

Galaxy Tablets

Samsung released its next generation of  the Android Galaxy tablet. The new Galaxy Tab4 comes in seven, eight and 10.1 inch sizes, powered by Android KitKat and 1.2GHz quad-core processors. via ZDNet

Cuban Twitter

It was revealed this week by multiple news outlets that the U.S. government masterminded the creation of a "Cuban Twitter." The operation, created by the Obama administration, was designed to undermine the Cuban government through the creation of a social media platform on the island. via AP

Apple

Apple is in talks with Renesas Electronics, a Japanese firm, to take over a unit that designs chips for smartphone displays. The technology would help improve a device's image sharpness and battery life. via Nikkei Asian Review

Shoestagram

This was an exciting week for Fueled. On April 1st, we launched Shoestagram, “the next big step in wearable technology.”™ Shoestagram was directly inspired by the true story of Fueled employee, Sven Lenaerts, an early adopter of Google Glass.
