Apple Announces Thinner iPad
Yesterday, Apple announced the iPad Air 2 as well as a new high-res iMac during an intimate event in Cupertino. The new iPad Air is 18% thinner than last year's and includes the iPhone's fingerprint scanner. via Business Insider

Speaking of Apple, it's official: Apple's new payments system will become available October 20th. Yesterday, Tim Cook confirmed that Apple has deep integration with banks and has added over 500 banking partnerships. via Gizmodo

The Guardian released a bold investigative piece that claims that anonymous app Whisper is tracking its users. Whisper responded with a lengthy denial, but the case against the company is convincing. via The Guardian

Get ready to groove: Twitter and SoundCloud have teamed up to create new audio cards that share music and audio right onto Twitter timelines on both iOS and Andriod. The feature will only be available to a select group at first, but eventually any artist posting on SoundCloud will be able to share. via SoundCloud
