Every Friday at Fueled, our London-based lead designer Rob Palmer shares a handful of inspirational websites with our teams in New York and Chicago. This weekly email acts like a virtual water cooler, encouraging us to congregate across time zones and discuss what brands and blogs are doing to push new trends in web design.
This week's design inspiration comes from all corners of the globe - from Australia, the UK, Switzerland, Russia and The Netherlands. Check out our 5 top sites for weekly design inspiration below.
Living Edge
Located down under, the Australian-based Living Edge sells elegantly designed furniture for the home and office. The company sells brands such as Herman Miller, e15, Louis Poulsen, Walter Knoll, Established & Sons, BD Barcleona, BassamFellows, PROOFF, Howe, Marc Newson, Michael Young, Nonn, Artifort and Andreu World. We love this iconic lounge chair and ottoman from Charles and Ray Eames and equally enjoy the amount of white space given to promote the product.
ONY
Wouldn't it be fun to jump into this website? The Moscow-based digital agency ONY believes that a new era in the life, business and design is coming. The agency integrates high level branding with digital communication to design new experiences of intellectual discovery, deep emotions, powerful insights and overall enjoyment. We love the honest attitude and playful design of this site. Oh, and check out the subtle hover effects on the content blocks!

Gold Interactive
Plan ahead; Question everything; Listen; Collaborate; Assume nothing; Study the past; Keep it simple; and Communicate... These are just a few of the tenants from Gold Interactive's manifesto. The Zurich based digital agency recently won an Awwward for its website's design, scoring 7s across the board and an 8 for creativity, which we'll chalk up to its quirky angular navigation.
DubbelFrisss
The crazy Dutch are at it again. We've never seen a fruit drinks website so intense. Loved by many in the Netherlands, DubbelFrisss the fruity thirst quencher that's "always up for a party and socializing". Although contrast on certain areas is pretty light, we like this site's overall good use of colours, animation and interaction.
MyBoat
Want to still be able to eat sushi in your old age? Us too. In a beautifully designed effort from the folks at Greenpeace International, MyBoat is a site dedicated to supporting sustainable fishermen. The site lets you create your own paper boat and set it out to sea, then encourages you to share this mission with your social networks. We love this concept and the website's engaging sign up form is a great call to action. With nearly 100,000 boats already "set out to sea", the campaign seems to have caught its tailwind.
