Fueled is heading to Portland, Oregon for WordCamp US (WCUS) 2025, taking place August 26–29. WCUS is the premier WordPress conference in the United States, drawing thousands of developers, designers, and digital leaders each year.
We’re returning to WordCamp US as a Contributing Sponsor, marking our first sponsorship of a major WordCamp in years and our very first WordPress event sponsorship under our newly unified and refreshed brand, Fueled. Our support celebrates our evolution as an agency and underscores our deep commitment to WordPress and open source. 10up has long been the professional services (agency) leader in the WordPress space, and carries on that legacy as part of Fueled, augmented by industry leading mobile app development and product strategy and design capabilities. We’re bringing more to the table for the WordPress community and our clients.
Several team members and leaders will be representing Fueled at WCUS 2025, each bringing a unique perspective at the intersection of enterprise digital services and open source innovation, including:
- Justin Livesay, CEO: Leading Fueled’s vision and strategy.
- Jake Goldman, Partner: 10up’s founder and an ongoing contributor to our WordPress and CMS strategy.
- Jeff Paul, VP of Open Source Initiatives: Oversees our contributions to WordPress and open source projects, including our suite of plugins and integrations.
- Joe McGill, Associate Director of Engineering: A WordPress core contributor and engineer behind some of our most complex enterprise projects.
- Evan Mattson, Staff Engineer: Our expert in WordPress-Google integrations. Evan will be at the Google booth, engaging with partners and the Google Site Kit team, showcasing the work we’ve done together on Google’s official plugin.
We’re eager to connect with fellow attendees, share insights, and learn from the community.
Leading the Conversation on AI in WordPress
While at WCUS, Jeff Paul will lead a hands-on workshop during the Showcase Day, “Scalable, Ethical AI: How to Own Your Content and Your AI with WordPress.” The workshop dives into building AI features in an ethical, scalable way through tools like our open source plugin ClassifAI and local large language models.
Jeff is also honored to join a group presentation and panel with the WordPress AI Team, “Core AI: What We’re Building.” As part of WordPress’s newly formed AI Team, Jeff will be on stage with colleagues from Automattic and Google to discuss what’s been accomplished since the team’s formation, the roadmap for upcoming AI features, and how the community can get involved. The focus is strategic and forward-looking: how artificial intelligence will shape WordPress in the years ahead, and how we can innovate in a way that aligns with WordPress’s values of openness and user empowerment.
Fueled’s Return as Contributing Sponsor of WCUS 2025
Our new brand represents the fusion of 10up’s WordPress, CMS, and open source leadership with Fueled’s wider digital and product innovation footprint. Our dedication to the WordPress ecosystem is not undiminished; it’s amplified. We’re investing in R&D, contributing to core initiatives, and pushing the envelope on what WordPress can do for businesses at scale. We’re the same team that’s helped shape the WordPress landscape for more than a decade, now backed by even greater resources and a multifaceted skill set.
If you’re attending WordCamp US in person, let’s connect. Keep an eye out for Fueled and 10up WordPress Practice logos around the conference and on our team members in the hall between sessions. We’re especially eager to talk with fellow enterprise leaders about bridging complex systems and new Generative AI platforms with open source, and how a strategic agency partner like Fueled can help make it happen.
