Roles and Responsibilities

  • Meeting with new potential clients (inbound leads)
  • Starting conversations around project direction & strategy
  • Leading deal structuring and contract negotiations
  • Smoothly transitioning deals from sales into active projects
  • Overseeing Fueled's partnerships program, where we refer leads that are too low-budget for us to handle
  • Overseeing top-tier RFP/RFI responses
  • Being a salesperson for enterprise deals and RFPs
  • Managing the Business Coordinator role including:
  • Overseeing the Fueled Partnership Program
  • Overseeing all inbound deal flow
  • Continuously improving BD tools and processes
  • Acting in a traditional “Account Management” role: keeping in touch with clients and overseeing project execution to maximize revenue.
  • Managing outbound sales efforts

The Ideal Candidate

  • Has 4+ years of experience (preferably including some management experience) with some combination of: digital, mobile, web product, consumer-tech, social media strategy, digital marketing
  • Has a mixture of startup and enterprise experience
  • Knows the difference between frontend and backend
  • Has an insatiable curiosity and knowledge about all things tech, mobile, apps, etc
  • Has a working knowledge of a mobile device’s capabilities to the extent that most client questions can be answered without consulting a developer
  • Has an innate ability to synthesize various data, learnings, and research to articulate the most important and actionable insights
  • Has strong visual thinking and storytelling abilities, simplifying complex concepts and strategies through design and logic
  • Is comfortable standing in front of a client or a room full of peers to give their opinion or a presentation
