We are looking for a Product Management Analyst & Writer

Fueled is seeking someone who “just gets it” around consumer-facing digital product management, strategy, etc AND has a healthy obsession with startups, the latest & greatest tech, etc. If you read Ben Thompson’s Stratechery and think, “I could write this” then you’re exactly who we’re looking for!

We’re looking for someone who is excited to spend lots of time exploring, analyzing, and covering the product development space. This includes things like design trends, tech trends, capabilities of the latest Apple releases, app store policy, trends in consumer marketing, agile development, product management tools, etc.

Experience

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience doing product management or similar work at a consumer-facing technology company and is a capable writer. Past formal experience as a writer and/or with sales at a digital agency is a plus, but not a prerequisite. The key experience is being an analytical, product-oriented thinker. Why are we hiring this person? We’re looking for a knowledgeable, insightful, capable, product-brained person to analyze and write about the concepts, ideas, technologies, startups, and products that matter to Fueled and our clients. We want someone who has their own thoughts and insights, NOT a ghost writer to just check the box on content marketing.

Wait what? Okay, so here’s the long version...

Fueled’s clients come from an exciting array of industries and backgrounds. But they’re unified by a passion to build great technology. They range from startups to major brands to publicly-traded companies. This role is focused on creating a wide range of analysis and content for fueled.com and other sites focused on digital transformation and product management. Content would include, for example: deeply researched policy white-papers, opinion pieces, how-to guides, SaaS comparison pieces, and case studies.

A successful candidate will have a product manager’s understanding of the technology ecosystem and development processes. We need someone with the drive and skills to help identify key topics of importance to technology decision-makers in a wide range of markets and produce relevant content.
