SVP of People

Ajaka Roth

Ajaka is a people and culture leader with two decades of experience spanning the education, nonprofit, and agency sectors. Currently serving as the SVP of People at Fueled, she has spent the past four years shaping and scaling People Operations, Talent Strategy, and Organizational Development. With a background in both mission-driven and fast-paced agency environments, she brings a unique perspective to building high-performing, inclusive workplaces.

A former educator, leadership coach, and learning and development specialist, Ajaka has led leadership development programs, guided organizations through transformational change, and built systems that support both individual and company-wide success. She previously coached senior executives in the education sector on people development, change management, and talent strategy, in addition to helping found charter schools and serving as a consultant for the Bhutanese Ministry of Education.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication from the University of Maryland, a master’s degree in Special Education, and a SHRM-SCP certification. She is also credentialed in Instructional Design through the Association for Talent Development. An experienced facilitator, she has led professional development on topics such as leading effective teams, empathetic leadership, and the power of communication.
