Brad Miller brings nearly two decades of multidisciplinary experience across strategy, user experience design, business development, project management, creative direction, quality assurance, and business leadership.
Before co-founding Lift UX, Brad served at a top-tier digital agency in St. Louis, Missouri—recognized as one of the leading Sitecore partners in North America. Despite Sitecore’s robust enterprise capabilities, Brad was drawn to the flexibility and accessibility of open-source platforms. Believing WordPress offered a better, more agile solution for many enterprise clients, Brad launched Lift UX in 2009 with a mission to deliver high-quality WordPress experiences at scale.
After formally departing his previous agency in 2010, Brad led Lift UX for the next seven years, guiding a talented team of designers and developers to create Emmy-nominated and award-winning digital products. In 2012, he oversaw the design and development of The Walking Dead Story Sync second-screen app for AMC Networks, which was nominated for an Emmy and later adapted for Breaking Bad. Brad also led the design and engineering of Mad Men Fan Cut, an innovative digital storytelling experience that invited fans to recreate scenes from the series. This project, too, received an Emmy nomination and was recognized for pushing the boundaries of interactive television experiences (details here).
Throughout his career, Brad has collaborated with iconic brands including AMC Networks, Microsoft, Disney, Frito-Lay, Sara Lee, GoDaddy, Chewy.com, Tenaris, Chick-fil-A, HID Global, 120 Sports, University of Kentucky, and many others.
Originally from the Midwest, Brad is a loyal St. Louis Blues and Cardinals fan. Before entering the tech world, he was a singer-songwriter who recorded two albums in St. Louis and Franklin, TN. It was during those studio days that his love for design and digital experiences took root—ultimately leading him to pursue a career in web development.
Today, Brad lives in Tampa, Florida with his wife, three sons, three dogs, one cat, and an ever-growing population of backyard lizards and geckos. He’s passionate about cooking, exploring emerging technologies, and staying involved in his church and local community. Always eager to connect, Brad welcomes any opportunity to grab coffee or lunch if he’s in your area—just reach out!
