You know what they say, “if you kill your plants — better call Greg!” Ok, that may not be a terribly popular saying. I mean, I did just make it up and all. But it should be a saying, because the Greg app really does its best to make sure your household plants stay alive.
Starting with the delightfully quirky app icon, Greg is an overall well-designed app. You kick off the experience by using the camera to snap a quick picture of your plant. The app uses AI to determine what plant you have and provide some helpful high-level information.
Greg will then provide you with a highly-detailed care guide that is personalized to your plant. This isn’t just based on what kind of plant it is, it takes your house environment and the plant’s size into account as well.
On regular intervals, Greg will let you know when its time to water your plant. It will even tell you exactly how much water as well. Does the plant need drenched or just a misting? Don’t guess — just ask Greg.
If your plant is looking under the weather, Greg can help too. Just shoot some pics and the ever-expanding Greg community will step in. Get common diagnoses from other plant-loving users.
This whole plant revolves around the singular purpose of understanding your plants. Many users don’t realize what they’ve purchased or perhaps been gifted. Greg, with a sleek interface and custom icons, informs you about your plant and makes sure it gets properly watered on time.
But enough about other people's apps.
