A dictator is defined as a ruler with total power over a country or in this case Steve Jobs can be seen as the dictator of iOS. What Steve Job says in the iOS country, or Apple world for that matter, goes. We all know his strict policies on pornography or button remapping. Steve Jobs has even been quoted saying:

You know, there’s a porn store for Android...You can download nothing but porn. You can download porn, your kids can download porn. That’s a place we don’t want to go, so we’re not going to go there.

Solidifying his moral policies. This makes it even harder to believe Hugh Hefner's tweet earlier this month:

Big news! Playboy--both old & new--will be available on iPad beginning in March.

The tweet led us to believe that there is going to be a Playboy app available in the app store with full issues of the magazine, but we all know that Steve Jobs would not let that fly. How would Playboy get around Apple's policies and land itself a spot on the iPad?

Playboy's content will be available on the iPad, it will also be available on other tablet devices. Playboy is launching a subscription-based online version of the magazine. Playboy is bypassing the Apple's policies by making the magazine available on the web, in a "tablet friendly" version, therefore not breaking any rules. The company also state that they will be releasing an iPad app, featuring non-nude models, complying with policies. Has porn finally found its way to iOS?
