We learned this week that Apple is getting ready to launch its "Smart Home" software in early June. The software turns the iPhone into a remote control for the entire house, from lights to security systems and appliances. Sources expect the software to launch on June 2nd. via Business Insider

Speaking of Apple, reliable sources revealed that the upcoming Apple iWatch will have a round face and a slimmer profile than Motorola's already announced smartwatch, the Moto 360. The watch is expected to hit stores in the second half of 2014, with production beginning in July or early August. Stay tuned! via Apple Insider

Foursquare Departures

Foursquare lost some important members of its team this week. Current COO Evan Cohen will leave in the coming weeks after four and a half years with the company. Foursquare's business development lead Holger Luedorf is also leaving. The departures come at an interesting time for Foursquare as the company just recently split its app in half. via Re/code

Dots the Sequel

Last year, the game Dots hit 1 million downloads within a week of launching. Now, the addictive app has a sequel. TwoDots takes users on an adventure with two main characters and 85 new levels. via Business Insider
