Taxi Drivers vs. Uber

Taxi Drivers forced traffic to a stand still in many European cities on Tuesday. Drivers in London, Lyon, Madrid, and Milan protested the rise of Uber by stopping in the middle of streets and shutting down major part of cities. Rather than turning people off to the service, London saw a 850% rise in sign ups. via NYTimes

PayPal President to Join Facebook

EBay To Buy Mobile-Pay Service Zong For $240 Million In Cash

PayPal President David Marcus announced on Monday that he is stepping down from his position to join Facebook, where he will work on the company's mobile messaging products. He cited Mark Zuckerburg in a public Facebook post as his main inspiration for joining the team. via Business Insider

New Facebook Feature

Speaking of Facebook, Facebook Messenger added another Snapchat-like feature. Messenger now has a new option that lets users instantly record and send short videos. via TechCruch

Galaxy Tab S

Samsung has a new line of tablets launching this summer. The Galazy Tab S comes in two sizes: a 10.4 inch model and a 8.4 inch model. People are most excited about the screen: the Super AMOLED display is the same type used on the Galaxy S5 which is hailed on of the best on the market. via Business Insider

FightMe, an iOS app that lets you challenge other users by recording 30 second videos, raised $1.35 Million in a recent round of seed funding. The app is describe as a "social video network" that showcases talents and opinions. We all know how this battle will go down... via TechCrunch
