Rob Palmer's weekly email to Fueled teams in New York and Chicago: a roundup of design inspiration

Every week at Fueled, our London-based lead designer Rob Palmer shares a handful of inspirational websites with our teams in New York and Chicago. This weekly email acts like a virtual water cooler, encouraging us to congregate across time zones and discuss what brands and blogs are doing to push new trends in web design.

This site showcases the newest line of eyeglasses from Austrian company Andy Wolf. It's straight forward but beautifully designed and effortlessly cool, just like the eyewear itself. The photography and positioning effects make this otherwise simple website immersive.

Yes, Alfredo Gonzales is a New York City based sock company. Even with the initial confusion, we appreciate the site's fun and animated feel.

Nice and Sweet

Sweet and Serious is a creative agency that makes "nice things, but only to solve serious stuff." Stuff like a film that puts a face to cocoa farmers and an animation about the biggest refugee crisis in history. The site reflects the company's commitment to both the sweet and the serious. It's lightweight and whimsical with great interactive SVG and CSS3 animations. There's lots to see and we love all the colors.
