Every week at Fueled, our London-based lead designer Rob Palmer shares a handful of inspirational websites with our teams in New York and Chicago. This weekly email acts like a virtual water cooler, encouraging us to congregate across time zones and discuss what brands and blogs are doing to push new trends in web design.
This week we have two 'addictive' games, one talented design firm and lots of great photography. We dare you to visit these sites and not feel inspired.
Studio MPLS
Studio MPLS is a company based in Minneapolis that specializes in branding and packaging design. Their website is solid and their featured work is absolutely gorgeous. We especially love their Belize campaign. If we're ever in the Twin Cities, we're going to invite ourselves over.
Aquaceutic
Aquaceutic is a Polish energy drink. Luckily, you don't need to be able to read Polish to appreciate this site. It looks a little like a Powerpoint presentation but it flows well and the images and layout are effective.

Alkopedia
Alkopedia is an interactive website run by Drugsmart.com, a site made by the Swedish Council for Information on Alcohol and Other Drugs. It is designed to help educate Swedish teenagers between the ages of 13 and 15 about the dangers and effects of alcohol. The endearing characters, great animation and snazzy formatting helps the site not seem preachy.
Desktime
Desktime is a company that serves a very niche market: co-working spaces. The website highlights their software platform and is refreshingly clean and easy to navigate.
Feel What You Are
This website is beautiful... but it took us a while to figure out what Feel What You Are actually is. Hint: it's a Spanish jewelry company based in Barcelona. The site is in its early phases and the company has yet to set up an online store, but we admire the soft color scheme.
Greats
We love this website for the new shoe company Greats. When you click on any pair of their legitimately cool shoes, you are brought to an informational page complete with a gorgeous break down of the shoe. The entire site is formatted beautifully. Be sure to click on the "About Us"page to see a video interview with the company's co-founders.
Bienville Capital Management
People hate on finance and often, those of us in the tech world accuse it of being a brain drain. The website for Bienville Capital Management, however, gives us hope. The New York investment management and advisory firm's website is crisp and clean. The design is simple which allows users to easily navigate around the site.
G - Star Raw
The Dutch fashion company G-Star launched its 'Raw' campaign and the website is pretty dope. The site opens with an intense full screen video and accompanying soundtrack. The website is full of content that beckons you to click and discover G-Star's latest styles. While it's not particularly 'raw', it is super cool.
Play Dot To Dot
Connect the Dots gets a gorgeous facelift. This addictive game is beautifully designed and hyper interactive. The sound effects are perfect and the interface flawless. The game is a lot harder than it looks.
Acko.net
This website is the personal site of mega nerd (takes one to know one) Steven Wittens. The site itself houses Steven's demos, deigns and development journals, but it's a must see for its insane intro. A must see.
