The 5 Apps We Love This Week!
At Fueled, we often share an internal anthology of awesome new apps: The Best Caesar, Glimpse, Cloak, Sneaky, UpCoffee
At Fueled, we often share an internal anthology of awesome new apps. As mobile developers, we’re lucky to hear about and download innovative new apps every day that make our lives easier, entertain us, or keep our eyes and hands busy in awkward situations.
Here’s what’s on our radar.
The Best Caesar
For centuries, children have been conned into eating their greens by the creamy, dreamy promise of a decadent drizzle of Caesar salad dressing. As you age, the delight doesn't disappear, it only grows. Who doesn't love a Caesar salad? This free app promises to deliver you the best Caesar dressing recipe ever. The app presents the recipe alongside gorgeous photography highlighting each delicious step. It's simple, mouth-watering fun.
Glimpse
Not too recently, one only had to worry about how their Facebook profile would be perceived by crushes and potential lovers. Now, singles must carefully curate their personal Instagram feed so they look as interesting as possible. Glimpse is a dating app that uses Instragram profiles as user profiles. With a tag line like, "Discover people who see the world like you," we're sure this app will be as sultry as if Instagram and Tinder had a love child. Plus, the design is slick and nice to look at- just how we like 'em.
Glimpse
Cloak
Fueled Founder Rameet Chawla always looks so good. And that's why we'd rather avoid him while we're hungover and haggard on a Sunday morning. Cloak is the "antisocial network" that allows you to avoid the exes, co-workers and chatty Kathy's in your life. Utilizing data from Instagram and Foursquare, the app lets you know where all your friends are so you can avoid them when necessary. We love the concept and social integration.
Sneeky
Sneeky is a combination of Secret and Instagram Direct with a hint of SnapChat. The free app allows you to anonymously share photos with your friends. Simply take a photo, add a caption, and share. Users are allowed to comment on photos to engage in conversation or reveal the identity of the sender.
Sneeky
UpCoffee
The brains at Jawbone have created an interesting and beautiful new app that determines how caffeine affects how you sleep. UPCoffee, designed by Jawbone's team of data scientists, helps you measure the way your body reacts to caffeine by tracking your daily consumption and recorded experiences. The app is available for everyone, even those without a Jawbone UP band.
