Uber's Operation Slog

cars It was revealed that Uber is sending hired brand ambassadors to convince and recruit drivers from Lyft to Uber. Code named Operation Slog (Supplying Long-term Operations Growth) the ride sharing company sent undercover ambassadors on Lyft rides and equipped them with burner phones and credit cards. via Business Insider

SnapChat Billions

The messaging app Snapchat fetched a $10 billion valuation by Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, one of Silicon Valley's most established investment firms. The app apparently attracts more than 100 million people every month. via WSJ

Everyone became obsessed with Hyperlapse this week. Instagram's newest stand alone video app is a fun and easy way to create stunning time lapse videos. The built-in image stabilization algorithm is top notch. via The Verge
