Messenger Reached 500 Million
We learned this week that Facebook's standalone Messager app has already reached 500 million monthly active users. Messenger was only at 200 million active users in April. via Business Insider

Ocho, a video social networking app, not only launched this week but also announced that it has raised $1.65 million is funding from Mark Cuban and others. via VentureBeat
