Venturing into iPhone keyboard design
When custom keyboard design finally came to iOS we were thrilled to become newly-minted iPhone keyboard designers. iPhone is moving in a more customizable direction and we couldn’t be more excited. To build your idea, whether it’s the next Swype or iPhone’s version of Handcent SMS, we work in two-week bursts called the “agile process.” Everybody involved in the project works nonstop during this period to have something solid to present to the client biweekly. Any changes will be ironed out during those meetings.
We don’t just build apps though, we build fully fleshed out products that are meant to generate revenue as well as attract diehard fans and new consumers. After the initial development period, we have an extra polishing stage to make sure that our iPhone keyboard designs are perfect.
The New Mobile
iOS8 brought a whole new, overhauled design to iPhone and keyboards are just the beginning. Now that third-party keyboards will be able to run on the iOS, we want to bring your creation onto the platform in a big way. Our iPhone keyboard designers are just waiting for the chance to build something new and exciting.
Users won't just be stuck with Apple's stock keyboard anymore. Customizable keyboards will be available with all sorts of themes and other customizable options, including chat bubbles and text.
Our process of building keyboards is no different than the way we build apps that aren’t meant for customization; we meet with our clients first to iron out the details and features, and then move on to the actual development of the product.
