Headspace is one of the best meditation apps out there. Requiring only 10-15 minutes of your day to help keep you centered Headspace makes it really easy to maintain mindfulness and wellness-centered meditation. Each Headspace course is led by co-founder and author Andy Puddicombe, who talks you through each short session, allowing you to close your eyes and focus on his instructions.

By just downloading the Headspace app you will get access to the basics course, a ten-day introduction to learning the fundamental techniques of meditation and mindfulness. The techniques and activities are varied, so each day you are learning a new way to meditate.

Subscriptions to Headspace cost $12.99 per month or $94.99 per year. A little steep, but for the price of admission you get access to hundreds of guided meditations on subjects like sleep, focus, and exercise. The meditation app also contains 2-3 minute “mini-meditations”, “SOS” sessions for moments of panic, anxiety, and stress, and guided meditations and mindfulness exercises for Kids. You will get access to bonus features that help you through daily struggles, such as short “Mindful Moments” to keep you present throughout the day, and Sleep Sounds to help you drift off.

Headspace has gorgeous, warm animations and art design that makes the app comfortable and appealing. The UX design is top-notch, making it easy to find the courses you want and clearly identifying the time commitment for each one.

This wonderful art can be shared with your friends, thanks to the Headspace iMessage Stickers that are included with the app. Headspace also integrates with the Apple Health app.

But enough about other people's apps.
